A veteran college football coach, Ty Gregorak brings more than a decade of experience to his current position as the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach for the University of Montana football team. Since joining the Grizzlies in 2003, he has helped the team amass an impressive record of 106-27 while competing in the competitive Big Sky Conference. In addition to his role with the defense, Ty Gregorak assists with the special teams unit and serves as a recruiter for a region which includes Washington, Idaho, Minnesota, and Colorado.
A former football standout at the University of Colorado, Ty Gregorak lettered for three years with the football team while completing his bachelor’s degree in communications. The winner of the Lee Willard Award for Outstanding Freshman, Mr. Gregorak also participated in two bowl games during his career with the Buffaloes.
After graduating from the University of Colorado in 2001, Mr. Gregorak enrolled at the University of Washington, where he pursued graduate coursework in educational leadership. While attending the school, he worked with the university’s football team as a defensive graduate assistant.
